Based in Kingston, Ontario, Momentum Campus Ministries strives to equip university and college campus leaders around Ontario with the tools, programs, knowledge, and skills they need to use their gifts and impact others.
Our mission is to equip campus leaders to help move students forward in community, discipleship, and leadership.
We believe that by partnering with post-secondary institutions, local churches, and community members, we can help build amazing campus leaders for Christ. College and university students have so much potential, and we want to see campus ministry teams lead them well.
Our core focus areas are leadership development, faith discovery, mentorship, and discipling young people in their walk with Jesus.
Originally established as Geneva Fellowship, we've been operating on Queen's University campus since 1974. In 1993, we moved our ministry to Geneva House, our current headquarters and a place where all students belong. For decades, we've strived to be an incredible community where people experience Jesus and His transformation.
We expanded our programs to St. Lawrence College and Royal Military College in recent years. But our momentum didn't stop there. We now have partnerships at Loyalist College, Durham College, UOIT, and more.
In 2020, we realized the need for change. We wanted to reflect the growth and character of our ministry and our new calling to equip campus leaders across Ontario. To honour our past as Geneva Fellowship, our new name Momentum Campus Ministries reflects where we've been and where we're going: upward and onward.
We believe in giving students a place to belong during their post-secondary studies. This means facilitating community, investing in relationships, and building up one another in faith. Our students are the heartbeat of our campus ministry programs.
We've been equipping and training leaders since 1974. Whether you're a campus ministry staff or team lead or a student leader who is paving the way, we want to see you and your campus ministry succeed. Success for us means creating genuine connection with Jesus and with each other through solid programs and groups, mentorship relationships, and leadership opportunities.
